Sometimes, they just need a helping hand. We believe that immediate needs need met, though, before focusing on long-term goals. On May 20, 2015 by Beth. We got to see how smart they are and what they can do. We then got to ride the elephants around the property. I was lucky and got an elephant to myself! The elephants were so sweet and so fun! I loved this excursion. After the elephants we made our way to Pretoria. He took us the Blue Crane for a very nice dinner! 7th Day in South Africa. Final leg of trip! December 6, 2010. The last 2 days at my service site went very well. we had a farewell dinner our last night in Pietermaritzburg. the 2 women from the refuge came. Went cave exploring, and just relaxed. We reached our final destination on november 25th; Cape Town! .
